Homecoming

After leaving mum and his breeder, Mack was fairly vocal for 30minutes, then settled into a quiet sleep on my feet in the footwell.
Cuteness and singing lessons continued onto the afternoon

The toilet routine is hard work every 20minutes but by 6.30pm Mack had met the neighbours and was walking off to the doggie loo to relieve himself ...not everytime though!

The car crate is cosy! ...although he will be too big for it by Wednesday.  Time for the big boy crate.

Anticipatience

Neither calm nor patient, we hit the local to check out the garden.  Mack will love it once his vaccs are completed.  meanwhile back at the house...

Toys wait....

A dog loo glistens in the evening sun, freshly sprayed with ammonia based attractant ...will it work?

will he hate us?

...one more sleep

Pick-a-puppy

Tomorrow we pick up Mack, our 8 week old Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla.  We first met Mack when he was 4 weeks old. He and one of his brothers stood out as the kind of boys we'd like to take home...
10 days later we ended up with the same gorgeous shortlist...

but Mack just stood out; able to play alone, happy to play with others and loving to play with both of us!
